Walk in the footsteps of early member Dr Frank Stableford who conceived the most recognised scoring system in the golfing world.

With mature woodland, wide and narrow fairways, and water features, our 18-hole golf course is breathtakingly beautiful and a South Wales favourite. Challenge yourself to some of the truest greens in South Wales whilst simultaneously enjoying our breath-taking views of the Vale of Glamorgan and South-West England.

Although originally designed by William East back in 1890 it was altered by James Braid before Tom Simpson in 1935 designed the course we know today. Some of Tom Simpson other projects were Muirfield, Ballybunion, Royal Aberdeen and Royal Porthcawl.

“Played golf there today, 60 of us. Course in good condition for this time of year. We had a 3 course meal, and some refreshments. Great welcome and company. Staff, very professional.”
